Emile has just learned that he has early-onset Alzheimer’s and only a few months left to live. Unwilling to stay in the hospital and face the pity of his family and friends, he decides to embark on a journey in an old camper van. Joanne, a young woman who responded to his ad, joins him on this unexpected adventure. For Emile, it’s a chance to escape a life that has become unbearable. Their improvised destination: the Pyrenees.
